 Directionally focused, this series normally inlcudes very short gage pads as standard, relatively dense cutter count to minimize drilling torque, and improve toolface orientation when drilling with MWD tools. Our SideWinder bits, with 240 degrees of steerability, are in this group. D-Series bits also include designs with extra-length gage pads to replace near bit stabilizers.
